I  have a few days before I zip off to the MVP 2009 Summit.  It is somewhat contradictory that I would set up my internet present right before my brain is filled with highly sensitive information that I will not be able to share because it is under NDA.

Regardless, here I am.

HELLO WORLD.

Hopefully you will see some more intellectual content targetted toward SQL in the next few days.

Things I want to start blogging on?

  • Buisiness Intelligence
  • Data Warehousing
  • Predictive Analytics
  • Microsoft BI Stack
  • SharePoint especially how it ties into the items above
  • Kimball Method - of course
  • MS BI Certification
  • Online Resources for all of the above items

Share the love people, let me know what you think, tell me I am full of it, correct me, educate me, praise me if I do something right - everyone likes encouragement.

Looking forward to learning on this journey...

It has been a long time coming, but I finally have a blog.  I threw up DotNetNuke 5.0 on a ORCS Web Hosting with their Platinum Hosting package.  ORCS Web came very highly recommended, and they have not disappointed.  ORCS Support Team has always been quick to respond to my mundane questions.  DNN is a no brainer for a number of reasons {'my past experience','it runs on SQL Server', 'it was made in Canada'}

I am new to the blogging module in DNN, so it is going to a be a bit touch and go over the next few days.  I will be leaving the decor more or less the way it is for now, as I want to focus on more important things like Blogging, SEO, recording some Web casts, DNN optimization... the list goes on.

If you have any suggestions for DNN Optimization of SEO specifically for DNN, by all means let me know.
